Our Aim
KETEX Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 2008. Our aim is to enable disadvantaged youth to realize their full potential. We do this through FIVE main objectives which are Academic Support & Workplace Readiness, Leadership Programmes, Meeting Basic Needs, General Life Skills and Holistic Health Mental Support.

KETEX Foundation was birthed in response to a need identified by Pastor X in the township of Alexandra. He wanted to help young people to motivated to go to school and stay in school until matric. During the time of the formation of the organization, most young people would drop out of school from Grade 10 due to bullying, family unfavorable circumstances.
KETEX was then formed to bridge the gap and ensure these learners have proper schooling uniform, books etc. We started with 20 kids per year and by year two we were assisting over 80 young people.

Basic Needs
KETEX Foundation has adopted Leratong Orphanage and through this initiative we are able to help child headed families with food parcels, toiletries, clothes etc.
Leadership Programme/Skills
Equip primary and high school children from previously disadvantaged backgrounds with leadership skills.
Holistic Mental Health Support
In partnership with FAMSA and Marriage Affairs we also provide counselling for learners who have family problems, struggling academically, abuse survivors. This is done through the schools identifying these learners and KETEX will do the sessions and update the school for further actions.
Every donation we receive goes to work immediately in the communities we serve.
Who we serve
Currently KETEX Foundation service high schools in Tembisa and the 5 High schools in Alexandra.
In total we service over 120 learners through various projects and intervention programmes.
We also provide basic needs to over 11 child headed families in Alexandra
